Morning Show Terminated at KLOL-FM Houston
Thursday  November 8, 2001

As reported first and exclusively yesterday morning at RadioDailyNews.com, Jim Pruett, morning show co-host, confirms by telephone that he and the full staff from the morning show were told by KLOL management that the station was moving in a different direction and they were being terminated.

Details of contract buy-outs or non-compete considerations were not disclosed.  Pruett referred legal question to his attorney.

RDN sources report that there may be more changes at the Clear Channel radio station.  Pruett reportedly signed a two year contract with KLOL-FM in 2000.

The "Morning Show" link at www.klol.com is now a "dead link."

Vince Richards is the KLOL-FM PD.  RDN attempted to contact Richards for a comment.  Richards has not returned the call or e-mailed comments as of the publishing of this report.

Send an e-mail to Richards to apply for the morning show.  vincerichards@clearchannel.com

Recently, Jim Pruett and Mark Stevens were a team show that had been  featured on KLOL for many years.  Their team show ended in February 2000.  Stevens and Pruett continue to be involved in the Houston community through the "Stevens & Pruett Foundation for Children & Animals." (www.radiogods.com
